This weekend saw the team hitting up NASS, all the usual suspects were in attendance including Ben Grove, Marc Churchill, James Gardner, Pete King, Ben Nordberg, Aaron Revell, Awadh, Kevin McKeown, Ross McGouran, Kris Vile and Aaron Sweeney. Grove had the course sewn up in practice and was tipped for the win but maybe peaked a bit early and seemed exhausted by the time his runs came up! Ross was also suffering from tiredness after just returning from Italy along with Kris Vile, he seemed happy enough with his 4th Place. James Gardner took the course apart with clinical precision nailing tricks on nearly every obstacle, including a second try kickflip front board down the big handrail, and finished in a well deserved second. In stark contrast Aaron Sweeney went at it like a bull in a china shop, going as fast as he could, shaking with adrenaline and pretty much going mental. His runs included a 540 over the hip, a lein to tail into the vert quarter and the most ridiculous tail drop (first try), a unanimous victory! Aaron was next seen being sick outside either due to exhaustion or adrenaline, probably both. As usual footage will be on this site soon.
