5-7 Neal St, London WC2H 9PR, UK

is the acclaimed Shoreditch gallery and book store run by communications agency KesselsKramer. It’s aim: showcase the most exciting emerging artists, designers and photographers operating outside the traditional gallery & commercial sphere. KK Outlet hosted over 130 exhibitions, as well as workshops, talks, dinners and other special events. 32,750 beers were drunk during ten years of openings. Perhaps because of this, the Outlet grew to become a much loved East London institution. From October - December 2019, KK Outlet has taken up residency in VANS Covent Garden.

“With KK Outlet, we tried to nurture a vibrant creative community. It allowed many existing and emerging creatives of all different disciplines to showcase experimental and personal work to an audience outside of the commercial gallery environment. Watching creatives who had their first show at KK Outlet go on to bigger things has been one of the most rewarding parts of the decade we spent in Hoxton Square.”

Meal Ticket’s concept is very simple: 3 courses, 3 speakers, 1 big source of head and belly filling inspiration. Run by KK Outlet gallery for many years, Meal Ticket has always sought to pair up the best kitchens with the best artists. For Everyday Play, we are proud to welcome back the East London chefs from Rita’s Dining who hosted for us on our very last Meal Ticket at our Hoxton gallery. Two out of the three speakers are now confirmed: Harry Grundy & Daniel Eatock, who we’re lucky enough to have as part of the exhibition. Join us to hear about the method behind their making. Our 3rd ‘dessert’ speaker will be announced very soon. Bon appétit.
