Born, raised and living in Manresa, Barcelona since 1980, I was the kid at school who was always drawing so I was sent off to art classes where I was introduced to many painting techniques and got heavily influenced by the American underground comic artists. I went on to study graphic design in Barcelona, which led to work leading graphic teams for various companies and in 2005, I started my own studio Grafficants. As time went by, I focused more and more on illustration projects. I rarely sign my work with the Grafficants tag nowadays as my work is now more individual and personalized, so I use my name instead. This work is mostly for bands and the music industry, coupled with developing visual identities for companies and hand painted murals.
