BERLE PRO CROC
This fall, Vans Pro Skate reintroduces a new colorway installment to Elijah Berle’s first signature shoe, the Berle Pro. Utilizing WaffleControl outsole technology, Vans’ breakthrough parametric cupsole, the Berle Pro provides state-of-the-art board control and responsiveness. The dark, crocodile-pattern colorway harkens back to another groundbreaking skate innovation from Vans: the world’s first-ever signature skate shoe, the Caballero.
As a Santa Monica native, Elijah is no stranger to swiftly adapting from the street to the parks and everything in between, helping to create a signature shoe that can keep up with his all-terrain lifestyle. Drawing inspiration from Vans’ first signature shoe with the legendary Steve Caballero in 1988, the black-and-pewter crocodile colorway pays homage to the past and integrates an updated design for today's generation of skateboarders. Inside and out, the Berle Pro is a Vans Pro Skate necessity designed by a skater, for skaters.
Elijah has reimagined the classic Old Skool silhouette to deliver upgraded support with Vans’ WaffleControl technology. The innovative outsole decreases the number of individual parts separating the foot from the board, resulting in next-level control and responsiveness that Vans Pro Skate is known for. Equipped with LuxLiner interior, which integrates the tongue and internal lining, the Berle Pro delivers a more comfortable and breathable fit. Black suede uppers reinforce durability to ensure a long-lasting shoe that withstands the daily grind of skateboarding.
A Vans global team rider since 2012, Elijah has maintained an illustrious skate career from his Tampa AM title in 2010 to his many notable skate parts, cover shots and three-time Thrasher Magazine “King of the Road” winnings. His upward trajectory shows no signs of stopping; he’s become one of the most influential and respected skateboarders in a seemingly limited amount of time. Now a member of the lethal Fucking Awesome roster, Elijah continues to push the limit while staying true to skating’s deep roots and dynamic spirit.
